Language Toolkit Writer and Reader are a pair of programs for the preparation and reading of the foreign language interactive multimedia lessons. This is the second part in my series of programs for foreign language teaching and learning (the first program released was Verbs & Nouns). With Language Writer you can prepare the interactive lessons in minutes. To set up a lesson you just use the set of predefined multimedia items specially designed for foreign language study. You can just drag-and-drop these items into the convenient locations in the lesson's window, paste pictures, movies, record sound, and enter sentences, translation, grammar notes or vocabulary into the proper boxes. These lessons can be viewed with the Reader program by the final user then. There are also 4 predefined exercise layouts for designing the foreign language exercises easily.
With Language Reader you can browse the interactive lessons, listen sounds, read translation, explanation, dictionary notes and more. You can also perform foreign language exercises.
Structure and Components of the Foreign Language Toolkit

You write interactive lessons with Language Toolkit Writer and dictionaries (with inflection and other advanced grammar information) with the Verbs & Nouns program. You can browse the dictionaries and practise a foreign language on a word level using the Verbs & Nouns application. Language Toolkit Reader allows you to use both the Interactive Lessons and the Dictionaries.
Future components are: language toolkit text editor with hypertext features, easy text analysis and translation, Web capable utilities, Internet network lessons toolkit (to set up real time lessons over the Internet).
Shareware
The program Language Toolkit Reader is shareware. The unregistered version quits every 6 minutes. To get the registration code for Language Toolkit Reader you have to register my other program Verbs & Nouns. This is necessary since this program uses dictionary databases of Verbs & Nouns. The registration code for this program is the same as the code for the Verbs & Nouns.
